Lesley Nevenzel, PA-C

Lesley completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Michigan State University in 2007. She earned her Master of Medical Science / Physician Assistant degree from Western Michigan University in 2010. Lesley previously worked in Gastroenterology before relocating to Wilmington in 2013.

 

Heather Goldstein, PA-C

Heather completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC in 1998. She earned a degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Heather moved to Wilmington in September 2001. She spent her first few years working in Family Medicine and Physical Medicine/Rehabilitation. She joined Wilmington Gastroenterology Associates in April 2004.

 

Taylor Thompson, PA-C

Taylor graduated from East Carolina University in 2013 where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She is a native of Wilmington and moved back to begin her career as a PA. Taylor joined Wilmington Gastroenterology Associates in March of 2014.

 

Wendy Hudson, PA-C

Wendy Hudson attended the College of Health Sciences in Roanoke and received an Associates of Science degree. She then attended James Madison University’s Physician Assistant Program in Harrisonburg, VA. After graduation, she worked as a Physician Assistant in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in South Boston, VA. Ms. Hudson relocated to Wilmington in 2006 and joined Wilmington Gastroenterology Associates.

 

Jean E. Nichols, PA-C

Jean completed a Bachelor of Science at State University of New York College at Fredonia, NY in 1994. She earned a degree in Physician Assistant Studies from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY in 1999. She has practiced at Wilmington Gastroenterology Associates since 1999.

 

Stacey E. Pennington, PA-C

Stacey is a 1998 graduate from West Virginia University with a bachelor degree in Biology. She attended the Physician Assistant Program at the College of West Virginia where she earned a Bachelor of Science / Physician Assistant in August 2000. Stacey moved to Wilmington from her hometown of Jamestown, NY in 2001. She spent her first two years working in Geriatrics and Internal Medicine before joining Wilmington Gastroenterology Associates in March of 2003.

 

Jennifer Preston, PA-C

Jennifer Preston completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996, majoring in Biology and Studio Art with a minor in Chemistry. She graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2002. Jennifer spent several years working in ENT and then Family Practice prior to joining Wilmington Gastroenterology Associates in September of 2011.

 

 

Justin Toth, PA-C

Justin is a native of Wilmington. He attended East Carolina University receiving his Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Exercise Physiology. He graduated in 2015 with a Masters degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School’s Physician Assistant Program. Justin joined Wilmington Gastroenterology in July of 2015.

 

Sarah Rydock, PA-C

Sarah is a native of Wilmington. She completed a Bachelors and Masters degree in Exercise Physiology at East Carolina University. After working in Cardiac Rehabilitation for 3 years, she went on to pursue a Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest University, graduating in 2009. She has been working in Internal Medicine for the past 6 years in Baltimore, Maryland before joining Wilmington Gastroenterology Associates in September of 2015.
